Engaged

I’ve made things all the way official. With a baby we’ll and truly on the way, I feel like it’s only right we go ahead and seal the deal. It doesn’t feel right calling my partner just my “girlfriend” since we’ve been together for so many years and she’s pregnant with my baby. So I took her for a surprise adventure and put a ring on her finger.

I feel like this year is the year when so many great things we happening and that it can only get better once we’re a family of three, so this is just one little way of me showing that this is really a forever thing and that we are going to be married one day.

We actually just moved homes as well. We’ve got a new flat which is better suited to our needs. It’s a bit further out than the last one from work, but it’s a lot safer than the block we were on before.

It’s like 2016 is a year of preparation. I was forced to grow up by losing my job, then having my first interviews, then doing loads of grown up things like really budgeting and weighing up long term debt plans, then moving and then finally moving into the first home that our baby (BOY) is going to know.

I can tell that I’m going to struggle to find the time for these updates in the next few months, but I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us.
